Kanto Iwamura is an architect and artist currently based in Tokyo. He graduated from the Architectural Association in London and received his Diploma in 2010. He currently runs his own interdisciplinary design practice section at Iwamura Atelier in Tokyo where he works on projects that range from murals, sculptural installations as well as residential and commercial architecture design. He is a founding member of the Summer workshop “AAVS Las Pozas” taking place in Mexico since 2014 where he experiments with concrete to express abstract and geometric forms.
